*Consignment is available for horses of any age and discipline!*
Horses coming to us for consignment will be boarded with us and kept in tune for a discounted price. We allow the seller to set an initial asking price and then we will evaluate the horse from there. After about a week of working with the horse, we have a good idea of how the horse handles and we can then touch base with the seller to re-negotiate an asking price if need be.
Once we've set the official asking price we go ahead and begin marketing the horse on popular equine websites and in popular equine publications. We'll photograph and take video of the horse in work to help get the horse out there. We will also send out emails to our clients and colleagues letting them know that the horses is being offered for sale. While being kept with us, your horse will be worked and/or ridden 4-5 days per week and may be used in our lesson program.
Horses typically sell in about 60 days, give or take, depending upon the particular horse and the situation at hand.
As stated above, we do charge a monthly fee while the horses is here, as well as a commission off of the selling price at the time of sale. Any routine care while the horse is here is the responsibility of the seller and will be billed (this includes veterinary care and farrier work). We ensure that your horse goes to a great home that you approve of.
*Price per month for consignment horses is $425.00 per month, this includes... Riding/working 4-5 days per week, Feed, Hay if needed, Turn out, Water, De-worming, Grooming, and General Daily Care.
NOTE: Veterinary and Farrier care NOT included in monthly price, nor is the cost of any extra supplements.
*Equine Consignment commission for Diamond LP Horses at time of sell is 15% of the selling price.
*Tack/Equipment consignment commission is 10% of the selling price.
