Our Program...
We are striving to offer more than just your average, modern bloodline in our program with a tight focus on quality rather than quantity in our foals. Our stallions have old, foundation bloodlines and our program relies heavily on our "mare power" from our growing broodmare band. Several of our mares are Royal King bred. Our horses are bred for all around performance versatility. For those looking to breed, shipped semen will be available in the future to outside mares as well as a mare motel and top notch care for those being hauled in for breeding. Keep an eye on our rapidly developing program and facility!
For more information on these stallions, our bloodlines, booking your mare or our breeding program please contact Caitie Bellinger at 678-386-6333 or email her at versatilehorses@gmail.com.*
Outlaw By Design
Poco Bueno Dot Com x Merlins Irish Mist (link to his bloodline above)
2009 AQHA, NFQHA 95% Foundation Bred, Homozygous Black, All Around Junior Stallion.
Outlaw is an outstanding colt with huge potential to be an all
around stallion. He will be ponied along side and started under saddle
from the back of one of our well trained geldings and will be finished out with a ranch horse
type background of working cows, reining, roping, mounted shooting,
etc. even with a little bit of dressage work tossed into the mix just
for giggles. He is anatomically and conformationally correct in every
aspect of the words; strait legs, big hips, apple butt, wide and
muscular chest even for a colt this young, small ears and what a jaw
this little guy is developing! Being fed absolutely NO steroids or
growth hormones ever this boy is NATURALLY developing into a handsome
and intelligent stud! Outlaw has been bred into the old, sought after Poco
Bueno bloodline and has the ability to produce fantastic
working-type stock horses. Being homozygous black, Outlaw can never sire
a red colored foal despite the coat color of the mare. This colt has a
very mild, curious, trainable attitude. He is going to be a
warrior-there's no worry in this colt! Outlaw By Design will be
standing as a premium sire in the future. Look out
for this colt in the show pen, he is brilliant and his future will reflect it!
*Update: Outlaw stands 13.2hh at one year and 2 months old!!*
**Outlaw

*Rest In Peace; Merlins Irish Mist. Erin was a beloved mare, may her legacy live on in her foals.*
Poco Bueno, the legend
himself! Poco Bueno began his carreer by winning the title of Champion
Yearling Stallion at the Texas Cowboy Reunion Quarter
Horse Show. He
also won titles at the Fort Worth Stock show and several other
competitions. He went on to be a fantastic cutting horse with a natural
cow sense about him. He sired 36 AQHA
Champions, 24 foal crops, 405 registered foals, 163
halter point earners (earning 3,522 total points), 118
performance earners (earning 3,617 total points), 84 Register
of Merits, 21 Superior Halter, and 3 Superior
Performance Awards.
In 1990, Poco Bueno was inducted
into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame. "Pokie" was and is still a
"Champion and Sire of Champions" (as written on his grave stone).

Duces RoyalFlush
2007 Stallion, Foundation bred back to Royal King. Own Grandson of Smart Little Lena. Tested HERDA N/N
Ducelena x Royal MaidOver
Dually is a unique stallion with quite a personality. He's highly intelligent and puts on quite a show if he believes that he has an audience. He carries the bloodlines of some amazing athletes in his lineage. Being a grandson of Smart Little Lena he has cow sense to boot! Dually is also heavily bred back to Royal King himself with many crosses to him both on the top and bottom sides. Dually is currently in cutting training and will continue his education in cutting, reining and reined cow work to become an all around performance powerhouse! Dually stands 14.3hh and weighs in at about 1100 lbs. This colt is small, quick and lean! Look for Dually in the 4, 5, and 6 year old cutting and reining events in coming years. Will be standing in 2012 to outside mares. Don't miss your chance to breed to one of the youngest standing Royal King bred stallions.
Reference to the Bloodline....
Dually's sire Ducelena is shown above. Ducelena has been sold and is now in Canada.
Dually's Grandsire on the top side is shown to the left, The cutting legend himself, Smart Little Lena in action!
Caitie had the chance to visit Tommy Manion's Ranch to meet Smart Little Lena in person. As of 2010, he is 31 years old and is completely retired. He lives the good life with a nice, cushy stall and turn out daily.
To the right is Royal King, the great stallion who, Dually traces back to on the top and bottom sides. There are very few Royal King horses left in the country, and even fewer stallions with heavy percentages back to him. Dually carries a high percentage of Royal King blood with out the heavy in breeding of most. Royal King is pictured again below...

Boon A Little x Royal MaidOver

Cayenne has been started under saddle and will soon be started on cattle. This little girl has so much potential and as correct as can be! She's built like the old time, little bitty quarter horses-short and thick, she stands 13.1 hh on her tip toes at age 2. Her career debut will hopefully be in the 2011 NCHA futurity.
